Robin C. Bogan is a partner at SeidenFreed LLC. She has been licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey since December 1996. She has devoted her practice to family law and related matters for over twenty-eight years. Robin has a state-wide presence and regularly appears before the Family Part in Morris, Sussex, Essex, Passaic, Bergen, Hudson, Union, Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren counties. Robin is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney.

Robin is a trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) for Morris County and has served in this role since 2024. She currently serves as a Co-Chair for the Legislation Committee for the NJSBA that reviews legislation impacting New Jersey law. Robin is also the Co-Chair of the Advocacy Workgroup for NJSBA Strategic Plan to promote the NJSBA’s advocacy efforts both externally and internally. In 2022 and 2023, Robin Co-Chaired the NJSBA “Putting Lawyers First Task Force” instituted by then-NJSBA President Jeralyn Lawrence, Esq., which issued a report and recommendations on improving the legal profession for lawyers. This report was described as “the largest and most comprehensive assessment ever produced on attorney well-being in the state.” In 2022, Robin received a Distinguished Legislative Service Award and recognition for her amicus curiae contributions on Moynihan v. Lynch from the New Jersey State Bar Association. 

Robin was the Chair of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association (“FLEC”) from May 2021 to May 2022. She was an Officer from May 2017 through May 2023 and has been a member of FLEC since 2007. She continues to serve on the Executive Committee and is currently co-chairing the Alternative Dispute Resolution Task Force with Founding Partner, Derek M. Freed, Esq. This is a multi-year initiative tasked with making recommendations for proactive steps that the New Jersey courts and family lawyers can take for cases to be handled more efficiently in court and out-of-court. 

Robin is currently serving as a subcommittee Chair for the Supreme Court Practice Committee on Wellness in the Law with Judge Michael J. Blee, Administrative Director of the Courts, which is led by Supreme Court Justice Lee Solomon (ret.). The mission of the Supreme Court Practice Committee on Wellness in the Law is to enhance the legal profession’s approach to mental health, work/life balance, career satisfaction and overall wellness to improve the profession and the practice of law. 

Robin also served on the Supreme Court Practice Committee on Family Law from 2021 through 2023. In that role, Robin was responsible for analyzing and reviewing proposals for new rules, amendments, guidelines, and other recommendations for changes to the family law practice in New Jersey. 

Robin was President of the Morris County Bar Association in 2016 and the President of the Morris County Bar Foundation in 2014. She volunteers as an Early Settlement Panelist for the Superior Court in Morris County. She served as an investigator for the Ethics Committee for Morris and Sussex counties from 2006 – 2009. Robin received the 2022 Family Practice Award from the Morris County Bar Association. 

Robin received the 2013 Professional Lawyer of the Year Award for Morris County from the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law. This award is given annually to lawyers from bar associations across New Jersey who by virtue of their conduct, competence and demeanor, set a positive example for others in the profession; someone who attorneys point to with pride as a true professional. 

Robin has been selected as a Super Lawyer by New Jersey Super Lawyer Magazine from 2012 to 2026. She was previously listed as a Rising Star by New Jersey Super Lawyer Magazine from 2006 to 2011. In 2017, 2018, 2018, 2019, and 2023, she was ranked by the New Jersey Super Lawyers Magazine as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in New Jersey. As both a lecturer and moderator, Robin has participated in numerous panel discussions on family law issues for the New Jersey State Bar Association, including the Annual Family Law Symposium and the Mid-Year Meeting in Atlantic City. She has also taught a seminar providing an overview of New Jersey Family Law for New York attorneys for the Practising Law Institute in New York City from 2015 to 2020. Robin has shared her family law expertise on panels for the Morris County Bar Association. Robin was a member of the Board of Directors of Good Grief, Inc., from 2004 through 2014, a charitable organization devoted to assisting children and their families who have experienced the death of a family member. Prior to joining SeidenFreed LLC in 2026, Robin was a founding partner of Pallarino & Bogan, LLP in Parsippany, New Jersey, where she practiced family law for twenty-one years with Michael R. Pallarino, Esq. until his retirement. From May 2002 through October 2004, she worked as a senior associate for Cutler Simeone Townsend Tomaio & Newmark, L.L.C. in Morristown, New Jersey. She started her legal career in September 1997 as an associate attorney at Shapiro & Croland, LLP, in Hackensack, New Jersey. 

Robin received her J.D. in June 1996, from Seton Hall University School of Law. She received her B.A. degree from the University of Richmond in May 1993. She served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Thomas H. Dilts, the Presiding Judge of the Family Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey, in Somerset County, from 1996 to 1997.
